Jinchuan Group has completed renovations to Anji Primary School's living facilities in Jishishan county, Gansu province, upgrading dormitories and the cafeteria with a 700,000 yuan ($104,450) investment.
Anji Primary School, a semi-boarding institution, serves more than 300 students from eight surrounding villages, including 46 boarders.
Outdated facilities and inadequate winter heating previously hindered educational quality and daily life, but these upgrades now provide electric floor heating for consistent winter warmth, 100 beds to meet current needs and support future growth, and standardized restrooms with modern fixtures to improve hygiene and accessibility.
A major focus was building a new cafeteria with designated areas for storage, preparation, cooking, and dining, meeting strict food safety standards. New furniture also addresses overcrowding and poor layout, ensuring a healthy environment.
