Jinchuan Group presented a range of technological achievements at the 2026 National Science Popularization Month event on Sept 13 in Jinchang, Gansu province.
The event featured science exhibitions, interactive technology experiences, and health consultations, offering residents diverse opportunities to enhance their scientific knowledge and broaden their perspectives.
The group's exhibit drew significant attention, featuring displays of high-temperature alloys, copper precious metals, and new materials. Using physical samples, simulation models, informative panels, and live demonstrations, the company showcased its innovations in non-ferrous metal research, advanced metallurgy, and smart equipment upgrades.
In the copper precious metals section, staff members held ultra-thin lithium battery copper foil samples, measuring just 3.5 to 4.5 micrometers, and explained the manufacturing process to curious attendees. Many visitors touched the copper foil, marveling at its gossamer-like texture.
Models of the electrolytic nickel shearing unit and large-scale new energy loaders also offered insights into Jinchuan's advances in smart, green production technologies.
