Amid soaring temperatures in the Hexi region, Jinchuan Group's Chairperson Ruan Ying, along with General Manager Cheng Dongquan, led teams on July 7 to visit frontline workers enduring extreme heat. They expressed gratitude and distributed cooling supplies to staff at various production sites.
At Jinchuan Nickel and Cobalt's flash furnace workshop, Ruan inquired about heatwave response measures and work arrangements. He urged workers to adjust schedules and balance rest with duties, emphasizing that frontline employees are vital to the group's high-quality development.
He called on all units to proactively implement heatstroke prevention measures, strengthen closed-loop risk management, and safeguard workers' health and safety to maintain stable summer production.
Ruan also visited the ore-dressing workshop of Jinchuan Nickel and Cobalt's concentrator plant, praising staff for their dedication under extreme heat. He stressed the need for enhanced emergency preparedness, refined support systems, and mutual safety mechanisms across all production lines and projects.
At Jinchuan Group Copper and Precious Metals' smelting workshop, Cheng Dongquan thanked workers for their commitment. He encouraged proper self-protection and urged units to prioritize employee health to ensure safe, smooth operations.
Cheng also visited the extraction unit at Jinchuan Group Nickel Salt, commending the team's perseverance. He called for tailored support services and collective efforts to meet annual goals.
