On Dec 26, 2023, a total of over 1,500 sets of prefabricated houses donated by Jinchuan Group were delivered to the earthquake-affected area of Jishishan county one day ahead of schedule.
As of Dec 22, Jinchuan Group has donated a total of 17.97 million yuan (about $2.51 million) in funds and supplies to the earthquake-stricken areas in Jishishan county of Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture, Gansu province.
On Dec 19, Zhang Youda, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jinchuan Group Committee and vice general manager of Jinchuan Group, led the rescue team to the earthquake-hit area in Jishishan county, Linxia, Gansu province, to aid affected victims on site.
On Oct 26, over 170 individuals from the departments and subsidiaries of Jinchuan Group organized a volunteer service activity in Jinchuan National Mine Park.
This summer, as a leading enterprise, Jinchuan Group actively coordinated with local governments, made every effort to alleviate difficulties, and participated in drought resistance work to safeguard people's livelihoods.
Recently, the Jinchuan Group's work team stationed in Magou village carried out a clothing donation drive. Over 1,000 pieces of clothing donated by staff of Jinchuan Group have been collected and sent to villagers.
The construction of a clinic in Magou village, Zhaizigou town, Jishishan county, with an investment of 500,000 yuan (about $68,700) from Jinchuan Group, has started on Sept 13th.
