As of Dec 22, Jinchuan Group has donated a total of 17.97 million yuan (about $2.51 million) in funds and supplies to the earthquake-stricken areas in Jishishan county of Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture, Gansu province.
As one of the leading State-owned enterprises in Gansu province, Jinchuan Group has provided maximum assistance to affected residents after the earthquake hit Jishishan county. On Dec 20, daily necessities have been sent to the victims. They included over 1,400 tents, sleeping bags, as well as over 1,000 cold-proof clothing, 24,000 medical masks, 2,500 boxes (bottles) of emergency medicine, and over 30 tons of food such as meat, milk, instant noodles, and purified water.
In addition, on Dec 21, Jinchuan Group initiated a "Proposal for Donations to Jishishan County for Earthquake Relief", seeing the responses from all party members, and staff of Jinchuan Group’s subsidiaries.

The beneficiation plant, nickel smelter, staff hospital, and engineering construction company of Jinchuan Group held donation ceremonies.
Nickel-Metropolis Industrial Company worked overtime to expedite the production of tents, cotton jackets, and other supplies.
In addition, the overseas project departments located in the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, and Indonesia have also participated in donations through online transfers.
