Every year, the company provides 0.3% of sales as a community development fund. In recent years, the company has donated millions of dollars to the local area to support the construction of schools, hospitals, and other livelihood projects, promoting the harmonious development of the local community.
In terms of promoting sustainable development, the wastewater from the mining site of the company will be recycled and then used for smelting. All mines will regularly test the quality of recycled water discharged into the environment. In addition, the company planted 400 different types of plants in 2020, and also planted 200 trees in Kinsenda in 2021. During the construction phase of Musonoi, a vegetation testing and protection plan has been implemented to prevent local ecological imbalance.
