Jinchuan Group held a battery material industry development seminar in Lanzhou New Area in Lanzhou on Jan 30. During the event, the group unveiled Gansu Jinchuan Reshine New Material Co following its shareholding reform and announced the commencement of operations for the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) project under Gansu Jinlin Lithium Battery New Materials Co.
The seminar facilitated in-depth discussions among participants on the technological trends of the battery industry, the group's battery material development strategy, and enhanced collaboration across industry, academia, research, and application. Attendees provided concrete suggestions to support the high-quality growth of Jinchuan's battery material sector.
The Jinlin LFP project leverages Jinchuan Group's abundant resources and intelligent manufacturing system to establish a fully integrated collaborative development chain. Through intelligent production and refined management, the project aims to deliver a high-quality product matrix. Its completion not only fills a critical gap in Jinchuan's high-end LFP production capacity but also significantly strengthens the group's competitiveness within its "mining and smelting-precursor-cathode material-resource recycling" vertical integration industrial chain. This lays a solid foundation for Jinchuan's goal of becoming a top-tier cathode material manufacturing hub in western China.
