Jinchuan Group is implementing a series of precise and pragmatic initiatives in Jinchang city's Jiaojiazhuang town to advance rural vitalization, foster thriving industries, and bring greater prosperity to farmers.
The group has tailored support to meet the needs of the livestock industry by investing in a "farming-photovoltaic complementarity" project. Starting in September 2024, Jinchuan invested 7.3 million yuan ($1.04 million) to complete the project's first and second phases, which include three standardized cattle barns, supporting facilities, and an estimated capacity for over 600 cattle. In 2023, the group also invested in the construction of the Jiaojiazhuang Modern Livestock Industrial Park, helping to open up external sales channels and promote scale development for local breeders. The park now hosts 28 high-standard farms, with a total cattle inventory exceeding 1,700.
Support efforts also extend to the finer details of community life. The group organizes cultural activities in the villages, such as writing Spring Festival couplets and holding performances, enriching local cultural life. It has also visited households in difficulty to deliver daily necessities and addressed infrastructure safety by installing 3.3 metric tons of insulating rubber mats in power distribution rooms. These actions have helped resolve challenges while strengthening the villagers' sense of belonging.
Jinchuan Group will continue to advance the third phase of the "farming-photovoltaic complementarity" project, further improving breeding facilities, with the positive impacts of this support radiating to surrounding areas, addressing infrastructure gaps, and enhancing the rural environment.
