A new community service center opened on Jan 15 in Cuijia village, Jishishan county, Gansu province.
Following a 6.2-magnitude earthquake in the county, Jinchuan Group quickly provided funds and supplies for disaster relief. Over the past two years, the group has invested nearly 15 million yuan ($2.15 million) in rebuilding damaged infrastructure in eight supported villages, with the community service center in Cuijia village among these key projects.
Constructed with support from Jinchuan Group, the center covers 6,000 square meters and has a floor area of 783 sq m. It includes a comprehensive service hall, a rural stage, a basketball court, and public green spaces. The completion of the center has significantly improved local administrative conditions, optimized service layouts, enhanced operational efficiency, and provided solid support for strengthening grassroots Party organizations and advancing rural vitalization.
During the handover ceremony, the Jishishan county Party committee and county government expressed their gratitude to Jinchuan Group for its assistance and presented plaques and honorary banners to the group's county-wide support team and its village-based work team in Cuijia.
"Launching this project is only the beginning," said Du Xingtai, deputy head of Jinchuan Group's Jishishan county support team. "We will continue to fulfill our support responsibilities and focus on the 'post-construction phase' to ensure the project delivers lasting impact."
