The 2025 National Science Popularization Month event in Jinchang kicked off at Jinchang People's Cultural Plaza on Sept 5 under the theme "Enhancing public scientific literacy, strengthening the foundation for a sci-tech nation". The event was organized by Jinchuan Group, the Jinchang association for science and technology, and the Jinchang science and technology bureau.
Jinchuan Group displayed over 20 exhibits across six categories, including new materials, copper and precious metals, and high-temperature alloys. Through physical samples, models, and infographics, the company presented its latest scientific achievements, drawing large crowds and becoming a major highlight of the event.

Staff members distributed promotional materials and provided expert consultations, making complex innovation-related knowledge accessible to the public. One resident marveled after seeing the ultra-thin nickel strip: "I never knew nickel products could be this thin!"
