As the new semester begins, students and teachers at Anji Primary School in Jishishan county, Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture in Northwest China's Gansu province, are delighted at their completely renovated campus — featuring broader grounds, a flat playground, and fully-equipped teaching facilities. These remarkable changes are the result of a charitable renovation project carried out by Jinchuan Group, reflecting the company's strong sense of social responsibility and commitment to education.
As a central primary school in Anji town, the institution had long faced challenges such as aging infrastructure, outdated teaching equipment, and limited capacity for modern education. The situation was further exacerbated after an earthquake in 2023, which caused cracks in the campus ground and disrupted normal teaching activities.
Following an on-site inspection, Jinchuan Group's assistance team stationed in Jishishan county formulated a precise plan and allocated 700,000 yuan ($98,214) in support funds.

The project involved hardening 3,500 square meters of campus ground, building one volleyball court and one badminton court with suspended floors, laying four plastic running tracks totaling 620 sq m, and installing two smart blackboards. These improvements have not only addressed the school's infrastructure gaps but also provided a safer, more comfortable, and modern environment where children can learn and pursue their dreams.
Moving forward, Jinchuan Group will continue to support Jishishan county in enhancing the quality of rural education, bringing increased prosperity to local villages.
