An unveiling ceremony for the LME-approved (London Metal Exchange) HK delivery warehouse jointly operated by China Resources Logistics and GKE Metal Group took place on Aug 19 in Hong Kong, China.
Jinchuan Group, as one of the first major companies to store metal at the LME Hong Kong warehouse, was represented by its Party secretary and chairman, Ruan Ying. He attended the ceremony and participated in several high-level discussions aimed at enhancing international business cooperation.
The establishment of the LME Hong Kong delivery warehouse marks a significant milestone in Hong Kong's efforts to build a comprehensive commodity trading ecosystem. It plays a crucial role in supporting national development strategies and promoting deeper integration and strategic collaboration in the global metals market.
Jinchuan Group is making use of the warehouse in its international non-ferrous metal trading. This move is a key step in the group's strategy to deepen its international operations, enhance market connectivity both domestically and internationally, and integrate more fully into the global non-ferrous metal supply chain.
The initiative not only provides international clients with efficient access to premium Jinchuan-made metal products but also aims to boost the group's influence and brand presence in the global non-ferrous metals sector.
During a meeting with LME CEO Matthew Chamberlain, Ruan reflected on the long-standing cooperation between Jinchuan Group and LME. He expressed commitment to adhering strictly to LME regulations and expanding multidimensional cooperation to support LME's long-term development. Chamberlain expressed a shared commitment to promoting the sustainable and stable development of the global non-ferrous metals market alongside Jinchuan Group.
