At 7:30 am on Aug 11, an emergency relief convoy from Jinchuan Group urgently departed for Yuzhong county in Lanzhou — capital of China's Northwest Gansu province — with all supplies successfully unloaded by 5:00 pm the same day to support the flood disaster relief efforts.
The first batch of aid, worth 406,000 yuan ($56,461), comprised essential daily necessities.
These included 220 cotton quilts, 210 mattresses and 400 bedding sets, alongside food provisions such as 1,000 cases of instant noodles, 200 cases of sausages, 500 cases of bottled water and 2,000 cases of milk, supplemented by emergency medical supplies — all crucial for ensuring the basic living requirements of the affected residents.

On Aug 7 and 8, torrential rains triggered devastating flash floods in Yuzhong county, causing significant casualties and property damage.
Jinchuan Group immediately mobilized cross-departmental resources to coordinate supply deliveries and support rescue and reconstruction work.
The group remains committed to monitoring needs on the ground, collaborating closely with local authorities and rescue teams.
Through concrete action, it demonstrated its responsibility as a State-owned enterprise to serve national interests and safeguard communities — standing united with Yuzhong's citizens to overcome the crisis and win the battle against the disaster.
