Chen Xiang is a shovel operator in the fifth mining area of the Jinchuan Nickel-Cobalt Longshou Mine, known for his diligence and practical spirit. He has successively won honors such as the Advanced Production Worker and Model Worker of Jinchuan, and was named a technical expert in Gansu province. His innovative "Advanced Operation Method of Shovel" in the work has improved work efficiency and reduced costs, increasing ore output by over 36,000 tons and nickel metal production by more than 200 tons.
Wang Zhendong
Wang Zhendong, the production process leader at Jinchuan Nickel-Cobalt-Nickel Smelter's side-blown furnace workshop, has spearheaded over 30 on-site technical renovations in 17 years. With 12 national utility model patents and 2 national invention patents to his name, his innovations have significantly improved process accuracy and reduced labor intensity. Since 2012, Wang has mentored over 20 apprentices, nurturing five into key technical talents.
Jin Jitang
Jin Jitang, a special-grade technician in the cobalt electroplating team of the Materials Plant One at Jinchuan New Materials of Nickel and Cobalt Company, has dedicated thirty years to the field of cobalt smelting. In 2013, he clinched the championship in wet-process cobalt electrolysis during Jinchuan's skills competition, showcasing absolute superiority and leading to his promotion to senior technician. In 2022, Jin was promoted to special-grade technician.
Wang Zenian
Wang Zenian, the 2024 Model Worker of Jinchuan, serves as a systems engineer. He has shown outstanding performance in the field of electrolytic copper production, demonstrating a strong focus on work and exceptional technical abilities. Wang successfully increased copper production efficiency, raised the qualification rate of electrolytic copper, and helped the company to generate tens of millions of yuan in profits. He pioneered a scheme mixing carbon steel with acid-resistant bricks and non-metallic materials, extending equipment lifespan by threefold.
Xu Yongchao
Xu Yongchao is the team leader of the SCR-7000 copper rod continuous casting and rolling production line in the Copper Rod Line II Division of Jinchuan Copper Precious Metal Wire and Cable Company. His SCR continuous casting and rolling production line copper liquid purification device and continuous casting and rolling steel strip installation lifting equipment applications have obtained national patent certificates. He has been honored with the titles of Technical Expert and Technical Model Worker in Gansu province.
Ren Zhishun
Ren Zhishun, the Deputy Chief Engineer of Jinchuan Group Yongchang Copper Co., Ltd., holds six invention patents and 47 utility model patents. He has received seven provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological achievement awards, two group scientific and technological progress awards and one technical improvement award.
Liu Guoqi
Liu Guoqi, a technology worker at Jinchuan Group's Lanzhou Jinchuan Technology Park Company, has led or participated in 14 provincial-level major scientific projects and 5 group-specific projects in his sixteen-year research career, forming a complete chain innovation model of "basic research - application development - industrialization". His research achievements have been granted 20 authorized patents, including 16 invention patents. He has published 10 papers, and 5 technologies have reached international advanced levels.
Wang Juan
Wang Juan, the director of the Metallurgical Design Department, has successfully led the industry's transformation into the field of new energy battery materials in the nickel sulfate project at Jinchuan Group through technological breakthroughs and cost control. Starting from scratch in 2017, she established the first lithium-ion copper foil production line in the Northwest China region in the new energy sector.

Zhang Gengming
Zhang Gengming, a technician at Jinchuan Nickel-Cobalt Longshou Mine, participated in the construction of the underground drainage and water supply systems for Jinchuan Group Metorex (Pty) Ltd in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His innovative optimization of the drainage system and upgrade of equipment layout saved a significant amount of costs. In 2024, he led a self-designed project that saved over $2.8 million in outsourced costs.
