Jinchuan signs strategic agreements at 2024 China Industrial Transfer & Development Matchmaking Activities (Gansu)

The 2024 China Industrial Transfer & Development Matchmaking Activities (Gansu)

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Gansu Provincial Government jointly hosted the 2024 China Industrial Transfer & Development Matchmaking Activities (Gansu) in Lanzhou on October 27. Jinchuan Group showcased its metallurgical and non-ferrous industrial chain at the event, with the group's general manager, Li Shangyong, attending the opening ceremony. The event, themed "Sharing New National Strategic Opportunities and Building a New Industrial Pattern in the Western Region," aims to fully leverage Gansu province's industrial resources and geographical advantages. It focuses on coordinating exchanges around 14 key industrial chains to promote industrial transfer, laying a foundation for Gansu's advancement in new industrialization and the construction of a modern industrial system. The event includes an opening ceremony and signing ceremony, as well as specialized sessions on green chemical industry, new materials, new energy equipment manufacturing, light industry, bio-manufacturing, and digital economy.

In the afternoon session dedicated to the green chemical industry and new materials sector, organized by the Gansu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with the municipal governments of Baiyin, Jinchang, Jiayuguan, and the Lanzhou New Area Management Committee, the focus is on seizing the new opportunities presented by the Belt and Road Initiative. The goal is to integrate into the new domestic and international dual-cycle development pattern, develop new high-quality production capabilities, advance new industrialization, better serve national strategic initiatives, promote higher levels of openness to the outside world, and achieve high-quality development. Jinchuan Group signed strategic cooperation agreements with GCL Group, China Resources Environmental Protection, and Xuzhou Coal Mining Group, presenting speeches on industry fundamentals, strengths, and future development directions. Other company representatives also delivered presentations, while experts discussed topics such as new materials for non-ferrous metals, chemical materials, and low-cost titanium extraction technologies.

The event attracted over 300 participants, including representatives from Jinchuan Group and various other enterprises and research institutions.
