After more than two months of intensive construction, the kitchen for the village committee staff of Magou village in Zhaizigou township, funded by Jinchuan Group, was put into use on Friday. This is the first completed project in Jinchuan's post-disaster reconstruction support for Jishishan county.

The 6.2-magnitude earthquake that struck Jishishan county last year caused the collapse of the kitchen in Magou village, bringing great inconvenience to office staff. For nearly a year, village committee staff had been cooking and dining in temporary tents.
Focusing on the needs of the people of the village, Jinchuan planned the kitchen construction project as part of the post-disaster reconstruction efforts. The village support team coordinated closely with the township government and construction units, overcoming challenges posed by the rainy season, efficiently allocating personnel and machinery, and ensuring the construction process was strictly controlled to guarantee quality, safety and timely completion.

The newly built kitchen covers an area of approximately 70 square meters and includes a workspace, storage room and dining area, providing a safe, comfortable, clean and hygienic dining environment for office staff, thereby playing an active role in building a beautiful village.
Du Xingtai, head of Jinchuan's support team in Jishishan county, said the company is always concerned about supporting villages there, especially addressing livelihood issues after the earthquake. The new kitchen addresses a critical shortfall in Magou village's infrastructure, enhances village-level service capabilities, and improves basic living conditions.
