Teachers and students from Lujiazhuang Primary School in Guanjiachuan township, Jishishan county, have presented a banner with the words "Love Warms Children's Hearts, Good Deeds for a Better Future" to the Jinchuan Group's village assistance team. They expressed their gratitude to Jinchuan for helping the school complete the air-source heating renovation, supplying heating six days ahead of schedule and ensuring that all teachers and students can stay warm throughout the winter.

In previous winters, the school, which currently has 78 teachers and students, used coal-fired and air-source heating, but due to difficulties in implementing anti-freezing measures, stable heating could not be maintained. After a detailed investigation and assessment, the assistance team decided to maintain but renovate the air-source heating system. They optimized the working medium by replacing water with antifreeze and modified the existing pipeline network to meet heating needs.
The air-source heating system
After more than a month of construction, the air-source heating renovation project was completed on schedule and successfully began operation. The school welcomed its first "green warm winter" during the recovery and reconstruction period after Jishishan county was hit by a 6.2-magnitude earthquake in December 2023. The 1,300 square meters of classrooms and dormitories are now filled with warmth and love.
