On June 14, Li Ping, deputy general manager of Jujia Company of Jinchuan Group, visited Zhaizigou township in Jishishan county, Gansu province, to provide educational assistance for local students.
It was Li's third time supporting the children in impoverished areas of Jishishan county.

Li has been involved in village assistance work since 2013, making great contributions to the poverty alleviation and rural revitalization in Jishishan county.
In 2021, Li Ping was honored as a national advanced individual in poverty alleviation. Li used the 30,000 yuan ($4,134) award he received to support 20 financially disadvantaged students in the county, encouraging the children to complete their studies.
Li's kindness not only encouraged the assisted students but also profoundly influenced the later village assistance personnel of Jinchuan Group and many caring individuals.
As of now, more than 30 staff members of Jinchuan Group have supported over 60 primary, middle and high school students. The total amount of assistance funds given to the students has exceeded 250,000 yuan.
