Musonoi Center Laboratory of Jinchuan Group's Metorex (Pty) Ltd in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) recently acquired the capability to provide mineral grade analysis and testing services for mines, and it has been put into operation.

The laboratory mainly undertakes various analyses and inspections of raw materials, products, water quality, and reagents for mines and ore dressing, which includes testing, analysis, calibration of daily production samples for mining and ore dressing, sample analysis for process investigation and experimental research, as well as environmental protection testing sample analysis for production and living-related water quality, dust and harmful gases.
In addition to having equipment for mineral identification, crushing, grinding, sorting, screening, and sample processing, the lab is also equipped with advanced tools such as the inductively coupled plasma (lCP) spectrometer, which will significantly enhance elemental analysis range and accuracy.

By the end of May, the laboratory had issued over 100 mineral analysis reports, more than 10 raw material testing reports, and conducted nearly 10 experiments on ore beneficiation process and flotation reagent conditions. The operation of the laboratory will further ensure the stable and efficient production of the Musonoi overseas mining, ore dressing, and deep processing projects for the group.
