When working underground, the work space for the operators is extremely limited, which brings about psychological pressure and poses hidden hazards to the workers.
Under this circumstance, Long has been striving to enhance the safety awareness of the operators and promote the construction of smart mines, using more advanced methods to ensure that the operators can work in a safe environment.

In 2016, a geological fault occurred in the west part of the mining area of Longshou Mine, resulting in collapses in some areas. If the existing filling method was used to continue mining, it would likely lead to a loss of over 2 million tons of ore. At this critical moment, Long took the lead in research and pioneered the "pillarless collapse mining method," effectively reducing the loss of ore reserves and bringing significant economic benefits to the company.
Long believes that working on the front line is the best opportunity to accumulate experience and learn relevant knowledge. Only through continuous learning and thinking when taking on more important roles, can one be well-prepared and capable of creating new methods to fulfill their responsibilities.
