Over the years, Jinchuan's No.3 Mine has followed the guidance of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and vigorously promoted environmental protection through green, low-carbon, and circular development.
The first "one-stop" intelligent filling system in Jinchuan's mining area - integrating machinery, electrical, control, analysis, and algorithms – has been put into operation in the No.3 Mine. This system enables workers to complete their work by just pressing the start button in the control room; water, sand, and cement are expected to be automatically conveyed into the mixer according to the ratio set by workers. The previous 24-hour manual operations were replaced by regular inspections, significantly reducing the labor intensity at the mining sites and improving work efficiency.
Moreover, the research of the sewage discharge system in the central pump station has enabled the automatic discharge of underground mud and wastewater to the surface in the No.3 Mine. After sedimentation treatment, the mud and wastewater will be treated and reused in filling production, significantly reducing the consumption of water resources.
At the same time, the mine waste rock crushing station is operated independently in the No.3 Mine. Its products are all applied for adding coarse aggregates to the filling, essentially achieving zero emissions of mine waste rock and the comprehensive utilization of wastewater. The economic and environmental benefits are remarkable.
In addition to these representative achievements of the No.3 Mine in promoting sustainable development, more intelligent and digital research achievements are emerging. The No.3 Mine will continue to devote itself to the construction of a resource-saving, environmentally friendly, and scientifically-managed mine.
