Zhang Jing, vice general manager of Lanzhou Jinchuan Technology Park Co., Ltd., has led her team to forge a position in the precious metal industry over the years, making great efforts in fostering Jinchuan's leading role in this field home and abroad.
Zhang has presided over and participated in 10 national, provincial, and municipal-level research projects, and independently developed over 50 research projects.
In the field of precious metal electroplating, Zhang and her team broke the monopoly of Switzerland's company - METALOR Technologies SA - on a new series of palladium salt products; in the automotive exhaust purification field, they broke the monopoly of Germany's Heraeus and the UK's Johnson Matthey on the precursor; in the chemical industry, they developed a ruthenium-titanium catalyst to replace imports.
How do you compare your products with imports? Faced with customer skepticism, Zhang replied: "We will let the performance of our product speak for itself."
Due to foreign monopolies on technology, domestic companies have long relied on imports. Therefore, many customers are skeptical of Zhang's achievements.
In such cases, Zhang carries out a full set of tests and evaluations, and compares their products and the imports from all aspects, such as appearance, purity, and product performance evaluation, to provide a detailed evaluation analysis report to vindicate her products.
"Research and innovation have no shortcuts; persistence leads to results," Zhang said. She mentioned that the introduction of each new product is extremely challenging, and it is only with the mindset of not giving up until the problem is solved that each encountered difficulty can be overcome.
