The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce recently announced the list of recognized trade-based headquarters companies for the year of 2023, seeing Jinchuan Group Trading Co., Ltd. and 40 other prestigious Shanghai enterprises making the list.
Trade-based headquarters is a new term referring to a headquarters established by domestic and foreign enterprises in Shanghai with such functions as procurement, distribution, marketing, settlement, and logistics for single or integrated trade activities. It includes traditional trading enterprises as well as platform-based trading enterprises engaged in matchmaking transactions or providing supporting services based on the Internet and other information technologies. The trade-based headquarters companies are benchmark and leading enterprises with significant influence in the industry nationwide, as well as the main force behind the construction of the Shanghai International Trade Center.
