From processing raw materials for steel mills to exploring high-end markets, such as nickel for the aerospace industry, the nickel products of Jinchuan Group have improved in competitiveness through breakthroughs in innovation.

At the same time, 5G and digital technology are widely used by Jinchuan Group. In the product distribution center, robots have replaced intensive manual work, only taking a few minutes to complete the work process that used to take hours of manual labor. Since the digital transformation of the company, the production efficiency of has been greatly improved, and the product output and quality have been guaranteed.
In addition to focusing on the upgrading of its nickel business, Jinchuan Group has also made efforts to improve its copper industry. The construction of a new energy electronic material copper foil project, with an annual output of 30,000 tons, has been accelerating. The 5,000 ton lithium foil production line is expected to start trial production at the end of March.
Technological innovation is a treasure inherited by generations of Jinchuan’s people. In 2022, Jinchuan launched 12 projects with the principal of an "open competition mechanism to select the best candidates"; the conversion rate of scientific research achievements had risen to 75%; a total of 736 authorized patents had been obtained, and the number of technical innovation accomplishments of Jinchuan’s staff reached 2,175.
