As the "chain master" in Gansu province, Jinchuan has cooperated with key companies: jointly constructing the largest single nickel sulfate project in China with Suzhou Hailu Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. to increase the production capacity of nickel sulfate for power batteries to 480,000 tons; docking with advanced enterprises, such as Hunan Corun New Energy Co., Ltd., to attract investment and technology and promote the construction of its 200,000-ton lithium iron phosphate project; connecting with leading new energy vehicle enterprises, such as Chang'an Auto New Energy, to carry out cooperation on projects such as ternary cathode materials, power battery manufacturing, and waste battery recycling.
In 2022, the production of ternary precursors reached 55,000 tons, of which, about 20% were directly exported to countries including Japan and South Korea, and applied to the new energy vehicles of the world's leading automotive companies. Today, Jinchuan Group has established a complete battery material industry chain of "nickel cobalt resources - nickel cobalt salts - battery material precursors - battery cathode materials - resource recycling".
The cooperation with other leading companies has not only injected impetus into the development of Jinchuan, but also provided a strong guarantee for industrial chains. Jinchuan has always striven to build a healthy industrial ecological chain that integrates upstream, midstream, and downstream enterprises: it has supplied solid waste resources to comprehensive resource utilization enterprises, provided chlorine and sulfuric acid to chemical enterprises, invested 470 million yuan (about $68 million) in railway dedicated lines of new projects, assisted in the laying of sulfuric acid pipelines, and promoted the upgrading and expansion of Hexibao Industrial Park. A total of over 200 million yuan was invested by Jinchuan to support surrounding small and medium-sized enterprises throughout the year.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period, Jinchuan Group has planned 89 projects, with an investment scale of over 70 billion yuan, promoting the optimization of the industrial layout and economic restructuring of Gansu province.
Relying on the advantages of nickel products, Jinchuan Group has introduced excellent nickel mesh enterprises to jointly build the largest printing nickel mesh production base in China, with a domestic market share of over 85%. It has also cooperated with Shenyang Aike Cable Co., Ltd. to develop copper intensive processing and build the largest copper-based new material base in the western region. Meanwhile, the company has attracted high-quality enterprises to settle in Jinchang, forming a resource comprehensive utilization industrial chain with an annual treatment of 200,000 tons of solid waste.
Seizing the favorable opportunity for global economic restructuring and targeting the major national strategic needs of the aerospace, marine, and military industries, a batch of sophisticated and new industries have grown rapidly in Jinchuan Group, and some fields have achieved import substitution of important materials.

In 2022, Jinchuan Group achieved revenue of 331.5 billion yuan, a total industrial output value of 219.9 billion yuan, and a total profit and tax amount of 18.8 billion yuan. All indicators in production and operation, industrial investment, and technological innovation reached the highest level on record.
