Jinchuan Group is accelerating the construction of its 30,000 tons of copper foil production site. After this project is completed, it will be the copper foil production base with the most complete range of copper foil products in the Northwest China, covering nearly 20 products in seven major categories. This will fill the gap in high-end copper foil products in Jinchang's battery industry chain, promote the transformation of nonferrous metal products from "traditional processing" to "material", and create preferential conditions for high-end battery production enterprises and copper clad plate production enterprises.

Jinchang, located in the west part of Gansu province, is the typical resource-based city in China. Its nickel reserves rank third in the world, while copper and cobalt mineral reserves rank second in the country. It is called the "capital of nickel".

The projects of Jinchuan, including phase I of upgrading nickel sulfate products for 280,000 tons of power batteries and copper smelting process technology improvement project, are being promoted and will contribute to the building of Jinchang's 100-billion-level nickel copper cobalt new material industry cluster and new energy battery industrial chain.
