Recently, Jinchuan Group's "research and application of key technologies to improve the copper recovery rate of Jinchuan copper nickel sulfide ore" project won second prize in China's Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Awards.
The project of "research and application of key technologies to improve the copper recovery rate of Jinchuan copper nickel sulfide ore" was implemented solely by Jinchuan Group Concentrator. The new process developed during the project has greatly improved the copper recovery rate of low-grade and complex copper ore, having a high application value in the same type of mining mountains. The technology has reached the domestic leading level and international advanced level.

In recent years, Jinchuan Group Concentrator has carried out a series of actions to break through the technological barriers in Jinchuan’s copper nickel sulfide ore. Through the mineralogical study of the raw ore process and the diagnosis of the whole beneficiation process, the company has effectively solved the technical problems affecting Jinchuan’s copper-nickel sulfide ore, such as the complex symbiosis of copper minerals and gangue minerals, the difficulty in monomer dissociation, the oxidation and alteration of the ore, and the difficulties faced in mineral flotation and separation.
