Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd. ranked 339th in the list of 2022 Fortune Global 500 companies, with an operating revenue of $40.96 billion and net profit of $964.9 million, according to the list released by US business magazine Fortune on Aug 3.

Jinchuan Group is a large-scale joint venture engaged in mining, mineral processing, smelting, chemicals, deep processing and multinational operation. It boasts the third largest copper-nickel sulfide deposit in the world, and China's largest and the world's leading nickel and cobalt production base and refining center for platinum group metals. It is also the largest copper manufacturer in northern China and has been widely recognized as China's "nickel capital". The group has strong global influence in the industry.
There are 21 shareholders in Jinchuan Group, with the Gansu Provincial People's Government holding a majority stake of 61.56 percent. Its main products include precious metals such as nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum, rolling and calendaring products of nonferrous metals, chemical products and nonferrous chemicals.
Through its endeavors over the past six decades, Jinchuan Group has become the world's third largest cobalt producer and fourth largest nickel manufacturer, and China's largest platinum metal producer and fourth largest copper supplier. It has won over 20 national-level awards and made great contributions to the development of the nickel and cobalt sectors in China.
