Jinchuan craftsman: Xing Dazhi [Photo provided to en.jnmc.com]
Xing Dazhi, head of the technical team at maintenance workshop II of Jinchuan Group Logistics Co Ltd, was born in March 1977. He is a Party member and a senior technician in trackless equipment maintenance.
Xing holds an associate degree and has been awarded as a Jinchuan Group outstanding Party member and an advanced producer of Jinchuan Group Logistics Co Ltd.
Xing has stayed fast in the maintenance of trackless equipment and persisted in learning to bolster his independent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. He has drawn 30 illustrated sketches to explain the theories of hydraulic principles, written over 80 articles on fault cases and maintenance procedures, and held dozens of training sessions for junior colleagues.
In June 2020, Xing was put in charge of the installment and debugging of an onboard data sensing monitoring and acquisition system. Since then, a comprehensive analysis of collected data has provided scientific reference for the inspection and maintenance of underground trackless machinery and equipment.
In July 2021, Xing and his teammates spent about six months making breakthroughs in the reduction of steering stop frequent welding for underground scrappers, saving 42,000 yuan (approximately $6,298) for each set of machinery per year.
Since 2016, 10 sci-tech achievements headed by Xing have received a national patent and second and third prizes of Jinchuan Group’s innovation awards.
Meanwhile, Xing has attached great importance to passing on his technical skills to younger employees and trained more than 10 team leaders for Jinchuan in recent years.
