Jinchuan Group Chemical Co Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jinchuan Group Co Ltd, one of the world's top 500 enterprises. As the leader of Gansu’s chlor-alkali chemical circular economy industrial chain, Jinchuan Chemical was one of the first pilot companies in China to integrate 5G technology with the safe production of hazardous chemicals. It has two subsidiaries, Jinchuan Group Chemical New Materials Co Ltd, which was recognized as a national high-tech enterprise in 2019, and Gansu Jinchuan Xinrong Chemical Co Ltd.
Jinchuan Chemical established the LZU-Jinchuan Chemical Laboratory of Chemical and Environmental Protection Industry with Lanzhou University, Xi'an Jiaotong University and the Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2020, which has improved its scientific and technological innovation ability.

The company has caustic soda, polyvinyl chloride, potassium sulfate, sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, liquid chlorine, dichloroethane and other chemical products, with a production capacity of more than 1.5 million metric tons per year. It has become the largest comprehensive chlor-alkali chemical producer in Gansu that integrates industrial manufacturing, services and trade as well as sci-tech research and development.
